Crypto prop firm FAQ
Everything traders ask us before signing up — funding, drawdown, splits, payouts and more.
A crypto prop firm funds traders with the firm’s capital to trade cryptocurrency markets in exchange for a share of the profits. You prove your skill in an evaluation, then trade a funded account and keep the majority of what you earn. Propulse funds accounts up to $300K with up to a 95% profit split.
Choose an account size ($5K to $300K) and a path: 1-Step, 2-Step, or Instant. Hit the profit target while respecting the daily and maximum drawdown limits, and you pass. The Instant path skips the evaluation entirely. Once funded, you trade under live conditions and can request payouts.
Propulse is an evaluation and performance platform. Accounts are simulated environments using simulated capital, priced on institutional-grade market data (crypto data from OKX). Profit splits paid to funded traders are calculated from performance within that environment and paid in real USDC or fiat.
You keep 80% to 95% of the profit you generate, depending on your account and scaling tier. The split is paid from the Propulse treasury with a full payment trail — a transaction hash for USDC or a transfer reference for Stripe.
Payouts are verified and paid within 48 hours, with no weekend delays. Choose USDC on-chain (Ethereum, Solana, or Arbitrum) or a Stripe transfer to your bank in 130+ countries. Propulse charges zero fees on any method.
On the 1-Step and 2-Step Runs, your first payout is available 14 days after funding. On the Instant Run, it unlocks once your biggest single trading day is under 20% of your total profit (the consistency rule). After your first payout, you can request as often as your balance allows.
The daily drawdown is 3% on all paths. The maximum drawdown is 6% static on the 1-Step and 2-Step Runs, and 5% trailing on the Instant Run. Limits are enforced server-side, transparently, and identically for every trader.
No. There is no time limit on any Propulse Run. Weekend holds are allowed and you can trade the news — crypto markets run 24/7, and so can your positions.
Crypto is the core market, priced on an OKX-grade data feed with sub-50ms execution. Forex, indices, and commodities are also available, sourced from institutional-grade providers.
Identity verification (KYC) is part of unlocking payouts on a funded account. It protects you and keeps the platform compliant. Propulse is not available to residents of sanctioned countries, including those restricted by the US OFAC.
Propulse has a named, public founding team — Deny Borissov (CEO), Titouan Guthmann (Head of Partnerships) and Antoine Parisot (CMO), with a dedicated About page. The complete ruleset is published (no hidden terms), every rule change is logged with a date, and splits are paid with a verifiable payment trail.
Most prop firms were built for forex and adapted crypto later. Propulse is crypto-native: built ground-up for digital assets, with 24/7 markets, USDC payouts, an OKX data feed, and public rules that are locked for every Run.
